My name is Cindy Geddes. I am currently serving as Newton-Conover City Schools' Director of Accountability and Technology. Prior to this role, I was the Instructional Technology Facilitator for two years and a kindergarten and first grade teacher for thirteen years. My husband, Leonard, and I have two children. I completed my undergrad degree in Deaf Ed and Elementary Ed at Lenoir-Rhyne University. I am a National Board Certified Teacher. I completed my Masters in Executive Leadership at Gardner-Webb University.
I loved the Cooking with Tpack Lesson. I learned that task at hand does not change but sometimes we have to use the tools we are given to complete the task. We have to re-image how to complete the task. This applies to Digital Learning in that the technology tools should not drive the task but we should creatively use the tools at hand to reinvent how we would teach the content and engage students.
